THE FOUNDATION

Created in 1.992, it is the only career of existing Social Assistant in Extremadura.

Cultural Santa Ana becomes for that reason a Center that unites the experience to the last initiative, in his always desire to harness the values and of covering the necessities with the frontier region.

The importance of its work stimulated our effort: the quality of the teaching staff.

The classrooms welcome in the best specialists in each concrete field.

Our objectives are:

• To form highly qualified social assistants considering the amplest and many-colored functions that will be able to desarrolar in their future works.
  
  
• To promote the sense of the social responsibility and the importance of its presence, guaranteed by the study and the practices, in our communities.

Profile of the student

Social Assistant means vocation and maturity, general restlessness by the many conflicts born in rural and urban societies.

In this one drawing of our students: far from the mere altruism, they work near the childhood, youth and the third age, of the physical diminished one, the drug addict.



They are in INSALUD, the INSERSO, the Council of Social welfare, the Ministries of Justice, Health and Consumption, Public Works and Urbanism. They live in teaching, the kindergartens, the services for the adoption... They are, in short, the promoters of the social development.

Requirements for the entrance

To have studied COU or Selectivity (option C, 50% of the seats), F.P. II (branches administrative and commercial, sanitary, Service to the community, 30% of the seats).
