THE FOUNDATION

Agricultural Industries (now Agrarian and Nourishing Industries), that at this moment
is the sector that concentrates the greater demand of use.
Technical Engineering in Agrarian and Nourishing Industries is a bet by the
future European as soon as the policy of reform of the Spanish agriculture anticipated by
the Community makes the intense preparation necessary of specialists in rural means. Of
there the increasing demand of agricultural technical engineers in the labor market.
Our objectives are:
- To practically instruct to men and women theoretical and, fomenting the personal
initiative and preparing them for the future responsibility: they are the hope of
the agricultural sector, as soon as the economic productivity of this one depends on its
knowledge.
- To stimulate the specialization necessity that is translated like competition in the
market.
- To direct with our experience and our efforts its desires of improvement of the
agricultural and cattle properties.

Profile of the student
The graduate in Technical Engineering in Agrarian and Nourishing Industries prepares
itself to be specialistic in Agronomicas Headquarters, assistant of the Ministry of
Agriculture, Fishing or Feeding... He studies to collaborate in Agricultural Cooperatives,
Farming Operations, Nourishing Industries, Agrochemistries, etc... For that reason
interest in rural means are a must. It is practical, with mathematical and analytical
intelligence, and mainly it walks guidance vocacionalmente.
Requirements for the entrance
To have attended COU or Selectivity (options To and B, 50% of the seats) or to have
studied F.P. II in the corresponding branches (30% of the seats).
Specialization
Possibility of specialization in grape growing and enology.
